The earliest Christian mission work occurred shortly after the death of Jesus. Mission work continues today through churches and individuals supporting various mission organizations. The main objective of these organizations is to share the teachings of the Bible, but often the mission work is providing secondary resources such as water or medical help
Bible translation, providing school opportunities, medical assistance, and humanitarian work all help provide the needs to needy.
